Opera: El Ultimo Sueno de Frida y Diego

I went to a marvelous matinee yesterday. Frida returns from the dead and spends time with her husband Diego. Greta Garbo also appears! The colors were rich and saturated. The tableaus were beautifully composed. The music was intricate and sometimes quirky. I found the singing lovely, but not fully projected, which is an odd. The acoustics at Lyric Opera are A+.

This photo does not do the Frida y Diego justice, but I will include it anyway. I found tons of inspiration for future fiber projects. Thank you CHI for the invitation to another fantastic event.
